Vaduz, Liechtenstein – December 15, 2021// Puppy Planet, the highly anticipated canine GameFi offering on ABEYCHAIN, has officially been released to the public.
Puppy Planet combines innovations from Axie Infinity’s smart contract games and the opportunity for users to participate in the NFT collectibles market. Puppy Planet players buy and sell NFT pets and use PUP mining to earn income while playing the game.
Puppy Planet is the first play-to-earn game to be deployed on ABEYCHAIN and represents the ABEY Foundation’s first entry into the Metaverse space.
ABEYCHAIN was recently awarded the prestigious Blockchain Solution of the Year at the Europe AIBC Awards 2021 in November.
Puppy Planet developers chose ABEYCHAIN because of the rapid growth on the blockchain. ABEYCHAIN has been adding more than 20,000 active ABEY 2.0 addresses each week and now has over 140,000 users on the blockchain.

In addition to the game being deployed on ABEYCHAIN, Puppy Planet’s PUP token is also listed on XSwap, the decentralized cryptocurrency exchange (DEX) built on ABEYCHAIN.
Puppy Planet had already experienced preliminary successes with two presales of the PUP token and two “Blind Box” offerings selling out in anticipation of the full game launching.
On October 29, 2021 Puppy Planet held their first PUP token pre-sale: 7,500,000 PUP tokens, worth $500,000 USDT were sold out to 5,000 participating ABEY addresses within 7 hours.
The demand increased from there: the second pre-sale of 1,200,000 PUP tokens, worth $100,000 USDT, sold out in only three minutes.
Puppy Planet also gave gamers the first opportunity at a rare asset with “Blind Box” sales.
The first “Blind Box” sale on November 13, 2021 sold out in fifteen minutes. The second “Blind Box” sale on December 2, 2021, sold out in just ten minutes.
Puppy Planet sold 5,000 Puppy blind boxes, including 3,000 Ancient Puppy Gacha and 2,000 Legend Puppy Gacha. These 75 images of puppies that hatch out of these blind boxes will never be issued again and can expect to become rare commodities now that the entire Puppy Planet game has launched.
The release of the full Puppy Planet game follows the success of those sales.
Puppy Planet’s “play-to-earn” model is similar to others that have become popular in the GameFi ecosystem and a focus of the blockchain industry in 2021. The GameFi model allows gamers to earn an income while playing the game.
The PUP token is available for purchase by users already signed up for the game, providing the opportunity for players to engage with the Puppy Planet world.
Puppy Planet plans to issue a total of 180 million PUP tokens, with 90 million of those tokens allocated for game mining on farms and battlefields.
Half of the proceeds from official shop transactions are being reinvested in the mining pool for rewards. A plus, players earn stable income by participating in PUP mining. If the price of PUP increases, players’ income will rise accordingly.
With the game launch, PUP tokens can now be used to buy, sell, and trade NFTs, props, release earnings, and hatch pets at a higher level than was previously possible. Players also benefit by participating in the governance of the game.
Future versions of Puppy Planet will also feature the concept of virtual real estate - where players could purchase, own and develop their own decentralized virtual space.
